Support
In short: email [email protected] with your business name and, if you've paid, the email address you paid with. I usually reply within a day or two.
A charge from DEXTER HIGGINS
A charge shown on your card statement as DEXTER HIGGINS is a payment for a one-page website, made through a Stripe checkout link I sent you after you approved a free preview of your site. Stripe emails a receipt to the address entered at checkout.
If you don't recognize the charge, or you were charged more than once or an amount you didn't agree to, please email me before contacting your bank. A charge that shouldn't have happened is refunded in full (see the refund policy).
Your download link
Within two business days of payment, I email you a link to download your website's files as a zip file, with instructions for putting the site online. The link works for at least 90 days, so download your copy and keep it safe. If you can't find the email, check your spam folder; if the link has expired or the files are lost, email me and I'll send them again if I still have them.
Something isn't right with your site
If something about the site as delivered isn't working, email me within 14 days of delivery and I'll fix it at no charge. Before payment, up to two rounds of changes to your preview are included.
Putting your site online
The files work with any web host that serves plain HTML, including several free ones; the README in the zip walks you through it. I don't host sites, but I'm happy to answer questions and help you connect a domain name you already own.
Refunds
Email [email protected] from the address you used to pay, within 14 days of your payment, saying what went wrong. When you're entitled to a refund, and how long it takes, is in the refund policy.
Stop my emails
Reply "no" to any email from me, or write to [email protected], and I won't email you again.
Your information
To see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, see the privacy policy or just email me.
